We are delighted that we have persuaded winemaker Kim Chalmers to leave London and visit us in Cardiff whilst she is on her UK trip.
This wine dinner is a must for any Italian winelover as Chalmers are famous for being the pioneers of Italian grapes grown in Australia and produce some the most remarkable and unique wines in all of Australia. They are serious wines that like all Italian wines are perfect for drinking with food so we are matching 7 Chalmers wines to seven new dishes from our spring Menu that Head Chef Iain Inman has been working on over the last month.
We have recently tried all of the Chalmers wines are they are nothing short of extraordinary and the response to us recently featuring a few on our by the glass list has never elicited such a positive and curious response. In addition to the Chalmers wines available in the UK we have shipped over an amazing Lambrusco and a heavenly dessert wine made from Sagrantino! We are all in for a treat!
We are also very lucky that apart from the cost of the specially shipped wines, Chalmers have donated the wines for the evening hence the exceptional price!
