On a recent tasting event in London I came across the wonderful wines of Sierra Cantabria, an amazing passionate and boundary pushing bodega that has long been under-represented in the UK. Indeed 15 years ago I was importing Sierra Cantabria wines into by little wine shop in Cardiff! After a lot of tasting, chatting and catching up we unanimously agreed that it would be a fabulous idea to introduce the wines to the peoples of Cardiff in the form of a wine dinner! Normally we do these dinners on Friday nights but with Friday the 14th being Good Friday we thought a Thursday night wine dinner would be the perfect way to start the bank holiday weekend and enable plenty of recovery time!
The wines of Sierra Cantabria are captivating and extraordinary wines from exceptional vineyards that transmit the very essence of the Tempranillo grape and its terroir. We are very lucky to be able to sample the extraordinary single vineyard wines of the Vinedos Sierra Cantabria project as well as their Estate wines. The evening will give you a wonderful insight into this one of Rioja's truly great Rioja estates.
As always we have struck a fabulous deal and with Sierra Cantabrias support we can offer this dinner for £79 per person instead of £149! You are effectively just paying for the meal with the wine being free.
