2020 was our 15th Birthday and this event was supposed to take place in late March 2020 to celebrate the occasion!  For obvious reasons it didn't go ahead but here we are 18 months later, delighted to host an evening dedicated to the extraordinary product that is Highland Wagyu Beef. 


This special event will showcase full blood Highland Wagyu Beef to its fullest.  Different cuts and cooking processes will be combined to produce fabulous flavours with a nose to tail philosophy.

Highland Wagyu is some of the finest Wagyu Beef in Europe, and its fullblood (pure) wagyu is a match to its Japanese counterpart.

The cattle are born, bred and fed in the Perthshire Ochills.  With a herd of 2000 individuals, each with their own different character and way, they are hand-reared and handpicked for maturity and flavour, to deliver the ultimate Wagyu experience.


So join us for an 8-course tasting menu with each dish having a Wagyu element!


It won't just be eight beef dishes the menu will contain fish, vegetables and desserts all with a Wagyu twist.


The menu will feature dishes such as Wagyu Tartare, Wagyu Burger, Lobster in Wagyu, Turbot, Truffles and Wagyu, Scallop with Wagyu Bacon  - you get the idea!!


Welshman Craig Smith, one of the owners of Highland Wagyu will be on hand to talk us through what makes his Wagyu beef so special.


The evening starts in the wine bar at 7.30 pm with Wagyu beef pastrami!
